About the Author Ryno Verster is the Historian for the Mini Owners Club of Southern Africa and has previously published a booklet on the history of the Mini in South Africa. Ryno provided much of the content on South African Minis on Keith Adams Unofficial Austin-Rover website, including the SA Mini production timeline. Ryno is a member of the Mini Cooper Register. Ryno was also most helpful in providing numerous help and material for www.austinapache.co.uk. Ryno and his friends are no strangers to epic journeys and adventures in the Mini, having travelled across the US in a Wolseley Mini, albeit a bootless Wolseley!
